Imran Khan’s Game-Changing Role in I Hate Luv Storys

In 2010, actor Imran Khan played a womaniser in the movie “I Hate Luv Storys.” This role was very different from what he had done before, and he revealed that Karan Johar helped him improve his image. In a recent chat on the “Moments of Silence” podcast, Imran talked about how Karan wanted him to look more attractive for the film. He said, “Karan decided to give me a sexier image. I usually keep fit, but for this movie, I was extra careful with my diet and exercise. We even did some topless photoshoots.”

Imran also shared a funny story about when he hosted the Filmfare Awards with Ranbir Kapoor in 2009. He felt very nervous because it was his first big event, and famous stars like Amitabh Bachchan would be there. To help calm his nerves, Ranbir brought some fancy vodka. They took a few sips to relax before going back on stage. “It helped keep our nerves in check,” he said.

In “I Hate Luv Storys,” Imran’s character, Jay, doesn’t believe in love, while Sonam Kapoor’s character, Simran, is all about it. They both work for a movie director known for making big romantic films.

Imran, known for other hit films like “Jaane Tu… Ya Jaane Na” and “Delhi Belly,” is now thinking about returning to acting after a break since his last film, “Katti Batti,” in 2015.
